I was born and raised in santa cruz , california , in 1969 .   I went to high school in newport , rhode island .    in 1994 I graduated from the university of hawaii at hilo on the big island with a b.a. in political science .   in 1995 I moved to santa fe , new mexico .     

it was at this point that I began working on what would become global internet government .     in 1999 I moved to portland oregon and in the spring of 2000 I created global internet government .

in 2007 I moved to bend oregon and I am still here .     I have been promoting gig for 13 years and will continue to do so .   

I am 44 , buddhist , I have never been married and have no kids .   

in late june I  will be driving from big sur , california , up the oregon coast , and then on to the columbia river gorge in the state of washington for the fourth of july .

I have really had a great life .    I have gone every where I wanted to go .   I have met everyone I have wanted to meet .    I have thought everything I have wanted to think .   I have said everything I have wanted to say .      I am very luck and fortunate to have had such a good life .     I am grateful that I had the opportunity to do whatever I wanted in life .    I am also happy that I had the courage to take that opportunity .     what I wanted to do with my life was to be an environmentalist .     

an environmentalist is not some one who wants to help the environment .     an environmentalist is not someone who thinks that he or she has helped the environment .     an environmentalist is someone who accually does help the environment .     as of today , april 27th , 2013 , it is my opinion that an environmentalist is a person who , starting now , decides to never have any children .    

if humans are as stupid as animals , humans will continue to breed and kill the earth and we will die .    if humans are smarter than animals then we will stop breeding and save the earth and live .    I hold these truths to be self evident .    

so , starting in high school , I realized that my life would be one large attempt to convince my species to stop reproducing .      some people say I should kill myself .    Im not that logical .    some people say if humans stop having kids , humans will go extinct .     to those people , I say this .    look , everyone on earth today will live on an overcrowded planet for the rest of thier lives .     a person who is a child now , if they live to be 100 years old or more , when they die , they will die on a planet that has to many people on it .     

humans have no right to kill the planet .     thats for future generations .     if the earth can sustain ten billion people , lets just play it safe and not go there .     why take the chance .     as long as the human population continues to go up , humans are a mold that is killing the earth .     people are doing this because they are stupid and dont know right from wrong or because they are evil and choose wrong .      once the human poplulation starts to go down , then humans become enlightened beings that are saving the planet for future generations .

so my big cause is female reproductive rights that united nations is pushing and I am here to help them push .      my other cause is freedom of speech on line , aka gig , aka global internet government .      

also , Im an atheist , agnostic and buddhist .    Im an atheist because I do not believe in god .   Im an agnostic because no one can no anything about god so we are all agnostic .    Im a buddhist because everything about buddhism is correct .    and easy .     buddhism is not a religion , it is a philosphy .     I will say this much .    I realized as a young boy that if I avoided everything that has to do with chistianity , I would learn way more about chistianity than I wanted to know .    so thats what I did .    I avoided everything about chistianity and still learned way more about chistianity than I ever wanted to know .  

I know children are the greatest thing ever .    they are rightfully cherished .     being a parent is probably the greatest experience ever , Im sure .     unfortunately , people , kids are a luxury we can no longer afford , like clean air and clean water .

this is not an economic issue .   this is not an religious issue .    this is not a racial issue .     this is not a political issue .   this is not a cultural issue .    this is a human issue , a now issue , the only issue .      

in the last millennium , environmentalism was accoustic guitars and whales .    in this millennium , environmentalism is gig .   

I want to give much love to my friends and family .     I thank my entire family for its love and support , without which I would not have been able to pull off gig .   

so , back to me .     I was born in january , 1969 , in santa cruz , california .    I spent my first days living on campus at UCSC , the university of california at santa cruz .   then we moved to possum hill , the corner of mira vista and alta vista .

I had a great child hood .    friends like mike tremmor , trevor mcpherson , matt getty , david chase and bobby wells .    grew up on the beach .      went to west lake grade school .    

then , when I was ten , I moved to oklahoma city , and went to casady school from grate 5 to 8 .     I had many good friends there , chris smith , brent lansberg , bond payne , david rice , ian rennert , corbin davis .  I lived in nichols hills .      but by 8th grade I had had enough and decided to move to newport , rhode island .

newport kicked some serious ass .     huge mansions , great downtown , and a beach , first beach , that looks like cowells beach in santa cruz  , withthe cliff on the right side going out to ruggles , just like steamer lane .     I went to saint mikes in 8th grade and met my best pal , kevin ryan , who lived in james town .    then I went to rogers high for grades 9 , 10 , and 11 .   I lived by goat island on the west side .    it was called the point .   I lived in a house that was built before this country was founded in 1776 .      59 poplar street .    it was called the point and I rolled with the point crew .    the nesbit brothers , the hughs brothers , tom mccormick .     

then I went back to oklahoma city for my senior year in high school and 3 days after graduating I was on a plane to maui .

I showed up in honolulu with 35 bucks in the summer of 87 .   I eventually made it to lahaina , maui .     after a year there I went to humboldt state university for a few months .     then I moved back to newport for a few months .    then I spent 89 on maui .   maui was the greatest .    I sailed catamarans with ross scott , and went surfing with danny placial and matt bottndorf .   

then in 1990 , I moved to hilo , hawaii and and in 1994 I graduated from the university of hawaii at hilo on the big island with a B A in political chick science .   

 if you look at a map of the big island of hawaii , it looks like the head of a bear , looking to the nearest land mass , santa cruz .   the eye is where the keck telescopes are and the mouth is the lava flow , rainbow falls is the tear .     the big island , six miles tall , 3 miles underwater , tallest mountain on earth .    13 of the earths 15  climate zones are on the big island .     it is on the big island that I started my political career .    what was then fiscal conservative , is now libertarian .    thats me .   I ran for state senate in 94 .     I am now on my third campaign for president of the usa .    Im the under dog .     went back to hilo for a few months in 07 .     nothing changed .    this would start a theme of dry wet .    lahaina dry .   hilo wet .   santa fe dry .   portland oregon wet .   bend oregon dry .    maybe I need to move to coos bay or eureka california .     any way , it was at college that I decided to create a third party / political organization .      something like a very green libertarian thing .

so I moved to santa fe , new mexico in 95 to do that .    

in 1996 snowboarder magazine published a letter from me called .I.P.O.  international political organization .   that was the first shot of gig .     I worked as a journalist for surfer magazine and snowboarder magazine in this millennium and in the last millennium .     I would also like to thank the following magazines for publishing global internet government .    TRANS WORLD SURF MAGAZINE , trans world snowboarder magazine , surfing magazine , and the surfers journal magazine .      santa fe was great , but , eventually , dry .    had great times with sammy cerveza , todd smith , todd glatz , molly patz and amy strong .  when you get off the lift in santa fe , your 12000 feet up .   santa fe , world class food and art .    so in 1999 I moved to portand oregon .    have been in oregon for the entire millennium .     MUST ESCAPE .    

lived in china town , nw 5th and davis , from 2002 to 2006 ,   great times with shark at backspace .     henry marks , the robison brothers , eric and hoos gow .      then I moved to bend oregon in 2007 .

I won the president of earth elections of 2008 , 2009 , and 2010 .     was president of earth from january first , 2009 to january first , hawaiian time , 2012 .     in 2012 I ran for bend city council .    lost that just like I lost in 94 in hilo .    will probably run again next year .    am running for president of usa in 2016 and 2020 even though I am over qualified .     libertian with strong green odor .
